Trips And Packing

By Francis Mitchell

Going on holiday is one of life's stresses which most of us will encounter at least once a year. Getting everything ready to go can sometimes lead to items being left behind. Essentials similar to your swimming costume or high heel shoes and also all your hair products. Arriving at your hotel and unpacking only to find out you have forgotten half your holiday items is a real nuisance.

What happens when you arrive at your hotel only to find out you have forgotten your wallet or purse or worse still your business proposal. What would you do then? Would you have time to rewrite your proposal or business plan. This is always annoying when this happens as most of the time you do have a hard copy with you as this may be back in your office with no way available over the weekend until Monday.

Going on an overnight trip or weekend or perhaps a longer family holiday which may last a week or two. Most of the holidays have some things in common with them like your shoes or night clothes or toiletries. Start by writing down all your essentials and then arrange your clothes according to your trip. There are usually the same types of clothes for business and family trips which you can pack away in a suitcase all ready to roll out onto the airport terminal.

Hot tip would be to pack the same bag of toiletries that you use in the house and keep a spare bag in your suitcase. Another good tip is would be to use the small samples of them similar to those used in hotels. Little bottles of shampoos and conditioners not forgetting shower gels. This will save on packing and easier to throw away. If you have them all packed you will less likely to forget anything.

Not forgetting your passport or driving licenses. It always amazing the amount of travellers who forget their passport or turn up with an out of date passport. Also travellers who forget their licenses and are planning on renting a car. Why not keep all your travel documents safe in the one wallet so you don't need to search or forget them on your next trip.
